The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) course is an entry-level scrum course that doesn’t require you to have any previous scrum or project management experience.

Everything you need to know will be taught on the course itself and all we recommend is that you work through the 13-page Scrum Guide before attending the course.

Ultimately, I want you to arrive to the course with enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to leave behind any preconceived ideas you might have about product development and project management.

Everything else is supplied on the course.

From a working textbook through to examples, course material, reference guides, etc.

There are a lot of ideas, theory and practical examples supplied throughout the course, so you’ll need to concentrate over the 2-day course.

The course is designed to help build your knowledge and expertise from the foundation of scrum through to proficiency in the product owner role, so you don’t need to have any previous knowledge and/or expertise in the area.

The Advanced Scrum Product Owner course requires you to have a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification with a minimum of one year’s worth of experience in the product owner role so there are requirements as you progress deeper into the role.

Likewise, the Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner course requires that you have both the CSPO as well as the ACSPO certifications with a minimum of 2-years’ experience in the role of a product owner.
